Yes ... he can seek permission of the court and cross examine, plead & argue his case ... but it is advisable that one should do so only if he/she has the requisite legal knowledge .....

YES HE CAN.
BUT NOT SUGESTABLE, UNLESS OTHERWISE HE IS A HARD PERSON AND ABLE TO DEAL THE THINGS PROPERLY.
ANYHOW IT IS LEGALLY ALLOWED.

Thanks for the reply. Can you please mention corresponding legal provision in act? Further, can layman file his own case and do all necessary what advocates do?
