without defendent evidence, defendant won suit

plaintiff filed suit, defendant filed written statement,
while cross examine plaintiff gave evidence in favour of defendent.
defendant want to say no evidence.
is it right decision? defendent can not answer properly in cross examination if do so.
is there any judgements? in favour of defendent

Hello,

If you are sure about evidence filed by the plantiff is in favour of defendent then you can choose not to file evidence. If defendent dont file evidence then it will be difficult to prove his case.

You can search judgments online on indiankanoon.
