parallel cousin marriage

i planned to marry my parallel cousin in South India after both converting to Christianity from Hindu so is it possible and anyone you knew who did marriage like this before and also i need a lawyer to guide in this matter from chennai itself .

As you both converted to Christianity, get your marriage be performed and registered by the Pastor of a Church in your area.

Does Christianity permit marriage of paralell cousins?

A niece of mine in Chennai fell in love with her paralell cousin (mother's sister's son) and married him notwithstanding protests from their parents. Now they are living together and have children. There has been no problem from any quarter. If two persons within probibited degrees of relationship want to get married that would not be possible if they go for registered marriage or an institutional marriage like a church marriage. Hindu marriages need only a condescending priest and a few witnesses. Problem will come only if and when someone with an interest, such as, say property rights, in proving the marriage null and void challenges the marriage.
