RK MEHTA (DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - LEGAL)     03 January 2012

Corporate liability

Can someone give me judgements on the fundamental point that any employee/Director of an incorporated company is not liable for liabilities of that company even any employee/Director who may have signed a cheque on behalf of such incorporated company if such cheque is dishonoured. I am only refering to the civil liability and not liability under section 138 NI Act.
