My uncle has filed a petition in Belagavi (Karnataka) on me under Sections 355, 504 and 506. The court has issued summons to me. Before I appear for the date, my uncle has written to my office that i have involved in criminal activities and to take appropriate actions against me. He has also forwarded the court order sheet showing summons to be issued.
One of my friends suggesting, that my uncle cannot write to my office directly such letters. I can file a defemation case against him.
Experts in this field may kindly advise me - (i) whether I can file such defemation case?; (ii) what could be the sections?; and (iii) can I get some reference of such cases priviously filed/ordered?
