Cross-examination questions

Ld. Lawyers of this forum,

I'd like to know whether the Judge is bound to record in writing all the questions that take place during cross-examination of the witnesses of  both the parties?

OR

Do we have to move an application requesting the Judge to record all the cross-examination questions during a criminal trial?

Judge doesn't record the questions. Only answers are recorded. No seperate application is necessary.

The Judge is having power to disallow those questions which are not relevant to the specific issue and even the defendant's counsel may raise objections for such questions and Hon Judge may sustain or overrule the objections raised during cross examination.
