Issued by local body i.e. municipal authorities issued birth certificate is only valid.

My view is that what difference does it make.  Now for applying Passport also, Government clarified that the date of birth in the marks sheet or certificate is OK.  Be happy with it.After all its only a month's difference.

Forget about what was original, and always mention that date which was recorded in qualification certifiates alone.  You may wishing to altrer it for just one month younger,  What happened is happened , do not spend further amount, energy and time when one month is not going to make a vast difference, and  who knows it may be to your advantage also some times while taking promotion..

Afterall it is amatter of one month.  Don't loose sleep over this 1 month DOB ahead being recorded in your School Records.. Dont waste your time, energy and money and be happy with your current DOB.
