Daughters rights on ancestral property.

Hi,

I have a question and need some guidance :

We are total of 3 kids , I'm the eldest daughter and I have 2 younger brothers.

My mom passed away in the year 2013 and the property my father holding the ancestral.

FYI,
- I'm married and my father gave dowry to my in-laws during  marriage , year 1979.
- Even my brothers took dowry during their marriages.
- I have 2 daughters , My 1st younger brother has a son and my 2nd young brother has a daughter.
- And since my father gave dowry during my marriage he refuses to share the property with me.

This will be a heavy impact on my life.I'm not sure how to deal with this situation.
Please share your thoughts.

1. What if my father already wrote a will (which I'm not aware of) saying that only my brothers has the right on the property ?
2. Do I have right to file a case and claim my rights ? If yes, how can I make it happen.

Regards.

In the absence of any valid WILL in place or if any partition effected during your fathers time, you are eligible for equal share.
