dear members,
father died in the beginning of 1997 actually he drowned,the dead body could not be recovered immediately G.D.E was filed with the local P.S.now the sons want to obtain death certificate.as far as my knowledge is concerned if a person is not heard for a period of 7 years he is declared dead by the court.
WHICH COURT HAS THE JURISDICTION TO ISSUE DEATH CERTIFICATE?
WHICH LAW SAYS THAT IF NOTHING IS HEARD OF A PERSON FOR 7 YEARS HE IS PRESUMED DEAD?
