Delhi private security company registration.

Registration of Private security Company is obligatory and for that matter obtaining of license as per private security services regaulation act 2005.

I am unable to locate the authority from where license could be obtained.

The legislation is a central act which mandates state govts to give efect to it.

Can you please help me.

As per the Act and rules, the Joint Secretary (home) of the State Government is the competent authority to issue lincence. But he is not issuing licence. Despite several communications from workers' side, the concerned authorities are not notifying the rules with ulterior motives. Most probably, if the situation demands, I will file a writ petition in the hon'ble High Court of Delhi for lackadiasical approach of the Government to implement this Act.
