Below are the offences performed by a panchayat President. What are the legal options to prosecute him?
- He constructed a road to his private lands in another village. the road was sanctioned for his village under district panchayat funds. The road work was constructed in his wife's name. she is a approved contractor.
- A IAY scheme house is alloted for his wife, though he already have a house. According to IAY rules, the village panchayat shall recommend the list of beneficiaries.
- He recently bought some land under his wife's name. obviously he has no visible source of income except corruption
