You asked:

Can 498a be quashed ?

Ans: Whether FIR has been registered in the complaint case filed by complainant or yet to be registered ? What are the allegation vis-a-vis defence/ counter ?

You asked:

How ?

Ans: If FIR has been registered you are required to move petition under section 482 Cr PC to High Court of judicature. If it is yet to be registered it can be closed by police authorities.

for quashing proceedings. A FIR containing quite vague, general and sweeping, specifying no instances of criminal conduct can be quashed even if the FIR constitutes and satisfy the ingredients of an offence.

She may not leave you / your family even after passing a decree of divorce for which she has stated to have signed MoU..

You can file petition for divorce through e-filing.
