Hi Experts,
here is my story, i was married approximately 4 years ago.
Story in short is my wife was suffering from depression before marriage and they did not
reveal the same during marriage.However, after we came back from Honeymoon her mother
revelaed the same to me. That time she was fine i did not realise the gravity of situtation
untill 2 months after our marriage when she started to have depression attack again.
She had fight with me and my family. I called her parents to calm her down and put some sense
into her. They came and expained her and they told me story how she got into depression.
After this she went to her maternal place for few days. After she came back she appeared fine.
but in few days she was the same again. She did this 4-5 times and every time her parents told
me diffrent stories.She has mentally harassed me by fighting with me and my family.
After a year i got job abroad and i have been there since last 3 years.
since then i have tried to get them to come to mutual consent and settle the case but they keep
avoiding my phone calls. And even when they attended them they use to shout and give bad words
on the phone. We have had two meetings and they are trying to convince me to get back with my wife.
Which i am totally NOT intrested in. All the attempts to get mutal agreement have failed.
I am totally at loss to understand what they want as they seem to think even after 3 years of no
communication i will reconcile with my wife. So now i have decided only way to get this into heads
is file divorce case against my wife.
My wife has been working since then, now she has decided to go for further studies.
I would like to understand two things
1) will the three years of sepration be counted even if i have been abroad. She was not staying with
my family she had walked out of my house on her own accord.
2) if i want to send notice to her where will i send as she works in another state, and her parents stay
in another state.
