Does IPC 283 affect police verification for PR

Hi, Recently one of my friends caught in traffic offence and his car got detained.. Police charged IPC 283 against him along with 28 others. FIR was lodged against him. Now he is planning to move abroad in coming months. Does this affect on police verification for PR for Australia? Please advice his police verification is due in January..

It is a non-cognizable offence.  It will not affect the police verification.

Your friend can plead guilty and get the matter closed. This could be done through an advocate.
