I was a distributor of a Pharmaceutical company and had supplied certain medicines which were declared substandard by Drug control authorities.I have a purchase bill for these medicines.
A show cause was given to me and I had sent copies of purchase bills to the Drug Authorities.
The drug authrotities filed a case against the manufacturer but in the case have also made me an accused.
Summons were issued to me which were never given to me and now a Bailable warrant has been isuued by the court in my name.
Now the issue is that the manufacturer is based in Gujarat and he has never appeared in the court or recieved any summons.
A local Lawyer advised me not to recieve warrants or appear in court until the manufacturer presents himself in the court.
Is this the right course or should I approach
