Apply to Public Service Commission in advance for rescheduling your interview on account of clash of dates of interview and election duty. ensure to Attach the document or order showing your election duty schedule available with you with the application. Do not panic in case Commission proceed to conduct interview of all others except you.
It is also possible commission itself postpone the whole interview process to some other date in case other candidates have similar issue.

it may be easy to convince electoral authorities for one day absence rather than expecting commission to reschedule interview.
