Email as evidence

How can I prove email evidence if other party denies sending it or receiving my email?

Emails were exchanged in 2003.

Is print out enough?

On what grounds can other  party make my email evidence inadmissible?

It is not possible to trace such old record and even there was no clcrete law 5 years ago so nothing can be proved by anyone in this matter.
