Newly introduced Employees' Pension Scheme-95 provides for following benefit package:

  2. To the members of the family upon death of the member:

    1. Minimum 10 years eligible service and

    2. Attaining age of 58 years.

Prior to 15-11-95, Employee Family Pension Scheme 1971 was in force. Those who were members of that scheme, they automatically became members of new Employee,s Pension Scheme. Those who had completed 10 years service, are entitled for Em.Pension Scheme1995  ie are entitled for Pension subject to certain conditions such as minimum 50 years age etc, etc. It will be better to contact nearest P.F.Office and ask details from its Public Relation Officer for details or visit EPFO Websites --www.epfindia.com,  www.epfindia.nic.in, www.epfindia.gov.in

It is confirmed that this member is entitled for Pension having completed 10 years service and claim can be made for pension if more than 50 years age or for Scheme Certificate if less than 50 years age. Claim is to be filed in the office of related PF Office on prescribed form no. 10-C, available free of cost , but duly attested by the Employer.
