YES, IN TAMIL NADU EVEN COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES R ALSO EXEMPTED UNDER ESIC

The Central Governement can cover any of the class of employees y its notification under this Act and if there is not such notification , The Officer Can not copell for coverage of ESI .

 may i know if any such notification exists for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry?
