Extension in joining for PSU

some PSUs adopt Post-Joining Police verification also.

Appointee is allowed to join without police verification...but the Police verification needs to get completed within 6 months and if adverse reported, the Appointment is liable to terminate.

better - write to appointing authority citing reasons - why needs time

Dear Querist - The Police Verification Clause is PSU dependent. Many PSU and even state govt too inducted the policies of Post-Police Verification. So, better - you may checkout the Associations of the PSU which u intend to join.

If Pre-Police verification is mendatory, you can delay it upto 6 months only by managing the Verification officials but they will forward your papers to next authorities if Pressure from SSP office comes.

you may manage temporary illness in Medical Fitness too and that may also provide you a relief upto 6 months only.

if both options already availed, only option leftout is - Write to appointing authority (you have 70% chances that you will get extention)
