False 498

My wife was in adultrous behavoiur, when i raised voice, to bring her out clean her family filed 498A case. But she realised aftereffects and withdrawn with statement that the allegations were false and she filed this case under the influence of her family members. But again she filed DV case and claiming IM. How much weightage does her withdrawl statement have in defending me.

Dear,

It will be of some help, but does not ipso facto absolve her case totally.

The 498a case is different from DV case and IM application in it.    Since she has already withdrawn her 498a (?) case, in my opinion, she may not be able to prosecute this DV case too properly, hence you have chances to strongly challenge her allegations and come out successfully.  Engage a better lawyer and contest it properly.

In my opinion if you fight DV case properly and diligently you can successfully come out from the allegations.
