False statement in affidavit may constitute an offence under Section 199 read with Sections 191 and 193 of the Indian Penal Code punishable with imprisonment upto seven years and fine, and Section 209 of Indian Penal Code punishable with imprisonment upto two years and fine.

The case of perjury can be filed in the dispossed off case.

It can be done on maintenance/divorce/transfer cases also.
That all were disposed off more than a year, in different states.

So anyone can file a case u/s as Mr. Sachin had specified after dispose off /discharge of case against him/her.
Is there any limitation of period to file case?
