Dear All,
Recently we have completed construction of a house for a client. There was a written agreement (not registered) between us. The house is completed last year and the final amount is due from the client. During this time he has sold that property and now claiming that the house is leaking, he does not wanted a level floor but a sloping floor, and some other lame excuses to avoid the final payment. The amount is around 2lacs.
The leakage is not because of poor construction but because a small portion of external wall could not plastered due to very narrow gap between this wall and neighbours house wall where in it is impractical to apply plaster with out breaking the neighbours wall. The level floor work was done by the owner himself and was not done by us.
How should i proceed with this matter to get back the final payment. Please advice.
Regards,
Sridhara
