Flat sale agreement

We have purchase flat from one of our relatives (not a related party) before 10-12 yrs. But at that time we couldnt make purchase agreement due to some issues. What can we do now? What is the solution to register our property in our name?

Hello,

You can still register the sale deed. Seller has to sign the sale deed and you have to register the sale deed by paying stamp duty and registration charges. Contact local advocate for registration of sale deed.

The seller from whom you purchased the property shall register the document in your favour and you have to pay the Stamp duty, registration fee and other charges if any.  If the seller is no more, his legal heirs shall execute the sale deed.
