Foolproof_agreement

Respected Madam/Sir,

I have entered into mutual consent divorce with my wife.

Our plan was to save 6 Lakhs in Fixed Deposit in my daughters name and let the interest amt be used for maintenance of baby. Later, from time to time, my wife may approach for enhancement of maintenance for my daughter through court and I have no issues with that. Even if they don't approach court, I will save it at my end and handover the savings, when baby reaches 18.

But my father in law, who has started saving 15k/month through LIC /policy for my daughter, had requested that all 6 Lakhs be given in DD form and they will not ask for any more maintenance for my daughter. I have gone by his word and have agreed for the same.

But I want to ensure that, they do not approach me for maintenance of my wife, who is now going away on her own will and unable to carry out household responsibilities. So I am not interested in giving any money to her. It is different thing that her father is very rich and I hope they will not trouble me.

I have attached 3 points of the document. Could you plz advice me whether everything is properly worded so that my wife do not approach me for HER maintenance using Change of Circumstances clause ( as right now I am employed, and after gaining employment, they shouldn't approach for more for My Wife). I have no issue as far as future claims for my daughter.

Please advice,
Regards,

Also, my wife had someadjustment issues with me and had behaved erratically, in early years of marriage. But then, she was attended to psychiatric treatement and a copy of doctors observations was given to me - so as to assure that - they will not create problems to me by her her tendency to threaten me with suicide.

Now, they are asking for those Medical Papers. If I keep xerox copy of the same, is it suffice?

Regards,
