Misuse of Atrocities Act and Harassment.. pls advice

Sir.. One member of our housing society has given a applicaton to Police against four of our society members including me under atrocities act saying that they have abused him in the name of his cast. He has done so as Society has intiatied action against him for dues long pending. He is clearly misusing the act to settle personal score. We have never in life acted in such manner and showed caste prejudice to anyone. Other society members belonging to SC/ST can vouch for this. We all members have very cordial relations with each other. This person belongs to SC cast and he is harrasing us. The said incident accured atleast 6 to 8 months back when we have stopped his water supply (He was not staying then but house changes and recounstruction was on and the workers had put the water taps ON so water was flowing for many hours). That time there was some argument between him and us but not a single foul word or derogatory statement. But he is making false accustaions just to trap us. Now he has completed all the work and is staying in Society without paying any dues yet. We have explained all situation to Police also.

Sir, Please advice how to deal with this unjust harrasment just because Society wants dues he is not paying..
