A Hindu person can gift his self acquired property to any of his relatives and even to outsiders. The Stamp duty to be paid is different between the family members (wife/husband, son, daughter, brother and sister) and other family members and outsiders. And the stamp duty varies from one State to other State. consult in local registrar office for stamp duty and fees etc., details.
