Can i marry a girl at the age of 17.5 with both of our parents consent in india. we as a family mutually agreed for marriage. please let us know if there are any challenges.

Hello Gurappa,
You cannot marry a girl before she turns 18 even if it is with her consent. As per The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, you and your family members can be punished with up to two years of imprisonment or a fine or both.
