Grand children right to property

when the self acquired property of a mother is divided among the sons and held as joint property by sons can it be called as ancestor's property

If the property divided between sons then it be called as ancestral property.

Ancestral property is defined as one that is inherited up to four generations of male lineage and should have remained undivided throughout this period. For descendants, be it a daughter or son, an equal share in such a property accrues by birth itself.

No,after dividation of self acquired property of mother to her son's,it will be self acquired property of sons.
