Grandfather property

Hello,

My grandfather's property. He acquired some from his father & bought some from others (so total 60-70 cents). My father received a few cents from this as share. My father built a house on this property & some empty space is there. Father passed away last year. Me & my (brother + mother) having dispute.

Can I apply for partition of this property (land + house) to keep my family (wife + baby) here? I don't think this is ancestral property because it is not 3 or 4 generations old. I am in doubt if I have a share? If I have, then I will consult a lawyer. Please guide.

Thanks in advance.

if your father has not made will of any of this property which means will of his self acquired property then you are eligible to seek partion as you also have share in your fathers property as per the hindu succession act.feel free to call
