Hello Sir/ Madam,
My maternal grandfather's land in our native place is now for sale by my uncles and they are trying to cheat my mother. My Grand father has three sons and two daughters. Eldest son died. There were 32 plots out of which my eldest uncle sold off 8 plots by written papers which are not legal and he is dead now (he took power of attorney from grandma)
The remaining 24 plots are now being negotiated by my two other uncles. My mother does not want to sell the land, she wants to reatain the land and build a school later. but they pressurising her. My aunt is under my uncle's care and she also wants to sell.How to stop this and get my mother's share legally? my mother is 63 and she is not keeping well (heart and sugar complaint) we are two sons. we dont want our uncles to cheat our mother.
There have been previous sales of land and my mother got cheated then too. but this time now that iam 30 yrs old and my brother 33 yrs , we dont want to see this injustice again.
PLS help us with the legal know hows of this issue.
