my question is what is eligibility for gratuity? for example i joined co. on 14/07/2011, got confirmation after six month.. wil they consider the joining date or confirmation date for gratuity calculation... and what about the leave which we took on those 4 years for ex if we took 60 days leave, in that last 4 years
how they consider for gratuity calculation, only working days or simply they calculate as per FY year

You have posted that:

The probation period is counted in service period.
You may count from DOJ to LWD.
All approved leave is counted in service period.
Submit leave applications under proper acknowledgment (scanned copies from personal email also) and obtain approval (preferably under seal and signature) and keep it safely.
