gravest acts of misconduct

dear members,

                  many a time the words -- gravest act of misconduct--- is used in service law.does this degree of misconduct justifies dismissal from service?

From the language you can differentiate misconduct from grave misconduct. In Pension rules for government employees, you can see this distinction. The pension and other benfits can be forfeited by President, of any person who is said to have committed grave misconduct.
