GST sole proprietor died legal heirs rsponds unpaid bills

GST sole proprietor has died and unpaid bills dues are pending with another gst registered seller. legal heirs responsible for these unpaid bills.
Are that can't approach legal heirs for these sole proprietor Unpaid GST bills.

most of payments were done in offline mode and written in a small note about payments.
