So, in Gujarat, only those who are "Khatedar" can own agriculture land. My father is not "Khatedar" but his mother's father was a farmer.
Current situation is : "My fathers > Mothers > Brothers" inherited agriculture land from "Fathers > Mothers > Father" and one of the brother is willing to transfer a part of land to us as legal claim of my gandmother on her fathers land.
Is this possible ? What documentation would be required. Any recommendation for a lawer whome i could approach for the whole process / transaction.
