Have been asked to resign

Hello Experts I work with a MNC , in this company they have a policy called good attrition , according to that company manager have been instructed that 5% people should leave every year . This year my management came up to me said that they want me to resign and started giving all foolish reasons . My performance in last one year has been good and I have proofs for the same , though I have got another job in hand but want to understand can management ask me to resign . Please help me with contact of good corporate lawyer who would have handled these kind of cases , I’m based out of Delhi . Regards

Is good attrition a written policy?

If company has demanded resignation and if you have evidence (audio/visual/written………….. ) then it can be termed offence and you can lodge complaint…………………………..as well as deemed termination…………. and you can claim Termination notice pay………………………….and retrenchment compensation may be possible.

If you resign company may adjust notice pay and square off your dues.
