Help needed!

Hi,

Need help in selling a property which is owned by my grandmother. She expired last year and has written a will stating that it belongs to me and my younger bro. We are in need to sell the property but my bro is a minor 15yrs.

My grandmother has written clearly in the will that property can be sold if my brother is minor with consent of natural guardian my mother ( as my dad expired 10 yrs ago) .

the question is "do i need to take court permission as its clearly specified in will that it can be sold with mother's consent?"

please reply.

thanks,

Bharath

Its good that your grand mother had written specifically about the consent of mother. Even otherwise, your mother happens to be natural guardian of your younger brother, hence she can permit for sale without any court order.

But, the minor's share should be used for minor only. None of you can use the same.
