Pls. advise me on the process to change advocate in Chennai Family Court @ High Court. I have not signed any Vakalatnama.

I have been told that Chennai Family Court does not need one.

If you not signed vakalat, then you dont have a lawyer.  Vakalat is document certifying that you have such such lawyer.  If you want to change lawyer, you need to get NOC from the lawyer who has filed vakalath on behalf of you.

If that lawyer wont give you NOC, you can give application to judge family court briefing the facts on green sheet and asking permission to hire services of a different lawyer.
