Hi

In cross examination the defendant cannot ask question on points which he has not taken defence in his Written statement..do anyone have any case law regarding this??

The pary can put the relevant question in his cross examination, basing of his written statement. No citation is required. See section 3 of Evidence Act. The person either side [the plaintiff or defendant] should not deveate the relevant fact.
