you can claim maintenance but you can't force your husband to add his name to service record during his lifetime , your inclusion in service recorded arise only in two situation firstly being nominee claiming his benefits and secondly for claiming his job on compassionate ground in the event of death during the service.

Dear Divya,

Since you are divorced so you cannot add your name in his service records now. However, it can be done in certain conditions only even by him like for filing Nominee details in employment records or you can do after his death when it requires to claim rest of the benefits.

He can be compelled

because

maintenance includes medical expenses as well and as wife of govt employee you are entitiled to the medical cover given to govt emp[loyee.

if no divorce happens then you are entitled to family pension as long as you are alive.

Dear Divya,

You can also file for residence since you are not divorced yet.
