why be afraid of arrested !!
(unless u are Govt servant)
best wayout :
get arrested and then get regular bail.
AB is costly affair. & time consuming too !

Don't give wrong advises..AB is the best option for 498-A..if oned has to spend 1 day for the offence he has not committed his dignity is lost..SCI has rightly said " Better to die thousand times than wound my honour"

It depends upon the place where the petition has to be filed. It may starts from Rs.10k to 25k.
