Dear Manju

You can get the property partioned even if you don't have succession certificate. Just file a suit for partition of the property before the civil judge of your original jurisdiction making all the legalheirs of the recorded tenant as respondant/opp. parties. If any conclusion is arrived as to the proportion of share and regarding the preferred share, then its ok, else court will ask you all to share the property by meets and bounds. Pl. take help of a lawyer.
