If the Hindu man is not married and is of marriageable age then he may approach officials nearest mosque and understand the process to convert to be a sincere Muslim, and marry a Muslim woman.

If you both belong to different religions, you can opt for marriage u/Special Marriage Act instead of either of you converting.

In order to attain a legal validity and legal sanctity for your marriage please approach the concerned Registrar of Marriaged and file an application of marriage underspecial marriage which will be apt in the present circumstances after which both of you can profess and practise your religions or choose conversions.
