I want to construct outside of disputed area

we had bought a land 10 years ago, and constructed compound wall 9.5 years ago ,and we constructed a house 3 years ago inside of my compound wall , while constructing my house they lodged a case that their 2 feet land is inside of my compound wall,we want to do some construction work out side of 2 feet land area but they are restricting to do that by damaging my compound wall,so my question is im going to do construct outside of disputed area eventhough they are restricting,so is it possible to do my construction work by police protection

Thanks in advance

First of all in a land dispute matter the power of the police is to see that there is no law and order problem, their duty is to see that peace and traquinality is maintained, beyound that they cannot legally do anything, at the most they can make an entry and forward the matter to the SDO Civil for proceding under 144 Cr.P.C.. The best thing is to get it measured/demarcated  by the official of the Circle Officer, or file an application seeking injunction restraining the other party to interfere in the construction.
