I had introduced my nephew to a bank i had an account in and opened an sb account for him.Many years later he stole an account payee cheque from a visually impaired person who had wrote out this cheque in favour of his sister Mrs. Hessing who resides at MumbaiThis nephew of mine who i introduced to the bank opened an account for his mother Mrs Weightman who impersonated as Mrs. Hessing and opened an account FurtherMrs. Weightman provided her own photograph as that of Mrs. Hessing to the bank with intention to cheat,and encashed the cheque.I lodged a complaint with the concernd bank on 19 june2013 and received an acknowledgement by e mail giving me a complaint number and status shows redressal in progress.after that ihae not received any communication from them. I would like to know the appropirate authority i shoul lodge this complaint with.( this incident took place about 7 years back )
