Information on passport Act

I haved for a passport , at that point of time i did not had any pending case against me in the courst but at present there is one pending court case against me ..and now my passport has been declined & even i got a letter from the passport department asking for the reason to serve why didi apply for the passport when i had a case..  but the fact is when i applied there was no case against me.

Please suggest what need to be done now as i have no clue on it .

Sir, passport authorities ahve the authority to seize the passport of a person when they know that there is a case pending against that person. So, it does not really matter whether you got your passport before or after the filing of the case. 

The only option for you now is to coe out of the case without proven guilty so as to get your passport back.
