Under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 you both can go ahead with civil form of inter-religion marriage. The Marriage Officer of your district will solemnise and register your marriage in presence of 3 witnesses who need not be relatives of the parties. No consent or permission of parents required for this for of marriage between parties of marriageable age. Religion, caste, creed and nationality of parties no condition or of any consequence for civil marriage.
