Interim maintenance

wife separated for 5 years filed suit by husband for divorce. During trial reunion takes place. two female child with father for the past of 7 years. During reunion wife attempted three times suicide and divorce suit filed for cruelty. transfer the case to her native place was dismissed by High Court and directed to pay transport allowance. interim maintenance petition filed. Is there any right to pay maintenance since the child with the father

Since in your petition you have not pleaded that she deserted you, you are liable to pay maintenance to her provided she is unemployed or no valid (proved) source of income.
