INTERVENE BY ACCUSED

In a criminal petition before high court to transfer a case to some other jurisdiction, can an accused file a intervening petition opposing such transfer? Iam appearing on behalf of petitioner seeking transfer? Kindly reply with relevant case laws?

As you say that its criminal case transfer petition, the accused is a party to the case and he has every right to be heard and oppose the transfer.
