Mr. Sufferer, can't the entire Men Fraternity unite and bring a STAY on this bill.  Though I am a lady I fully agree to whatever consequences you have mentioned about this Bill.  I dont think there is even ONE WISE MALE in the team who have worked on this bill.  Its a complete ambigious, biased bill which will really destroy the culture of India and very soon there will be a situation like CHINA where no man will marry and women will have to beg for marriage.

We need more men line you Sufferer...... wake up men so that the institution of marriage is not dissolved completely ........ bring a STAY immediately on this BILL.  When the women says we are no less than men then WHY THIS TYPE OF BILL.  I feel every case must be decided on CASE-TO-CASE BASIS.

Dear Bharati jii,

It's very pleasant to hear from you against these biased Laws inspite of being Lady at least you invoked your voice here. I really appreciate your concerns.

But it's pathriarchal in the same way where women are suffering in villages or in uneducated families in side ways the men are also suffering in urban society in well educated families by their own wives.

We the men are become only a palatable cuisines in the eye of Government, In-laws and our wives. To whom any of these three can hit at any time, sue at any time and suck at any time.

By the way,India is running so many campaigns to stop this Biased laws but effects are too low.

I really appreciate SIFF who had started 8 years ago with a few members and now come across entire nation. There are so many NGO's running through out the nation to help the victims and enhance their legal remedies on these biased laws.

But , it's very sad to say that the mouth of corrupt crocodile is too large that it needs "Gender Revolution" against the Gender Biased law by each India Male.

I appeal to all Victims here to Join SIFF or any other NGO's and be the person to raise your voice against these Biased laws.....

Dear Sufferer, let us not loose hope.  What I have studied in Law is NO INNOCENT SHOULD BE PUNISHED, and Judiciary should work on this line.  Be United and raise your VOICE.

Hi,

Can some learned experts kindly clarify the following:

THe IRBM is applicable only for couple who had 3 years of separation in marriage or this is not a criteria.Because there are lot of people who says in future girl will marry a rich guy and next day she will file divorce and get half of his property.Does the age of marriage matters for IRBM or not....

To all victums of biased law,

The party who had introduced the IrBm is no more in rulling and power. The bill which has been passed by rajya sabha in 2013 is no more in procedure.

The IrBm (marriage ammendment bill) need again the same procedure like it has to be passed by both houses I.e lok sabha and rajya sabha, again from lok sabha to presidents chamber, from presidents sign to gazette notification and gazette notification to amended as an act in HMA and SMA.

so, right now there is no air for re introducing this bill in the parliament.

Lets see what happens in the winter session of 2014.

So, stay tunned and have all legal knowledge about personal and family law as well as property law.
